Ohio Historical Markers: Butternut Ridge Cemetery

Spread throughout the state are these Ohio Historical Markers.  Northeast Ohio has its fair share of them.  Some cities have plenty, others one or two.  But each one has an interesting story connected to it, and connected to the history of the region.  Using a list from Remarkable Ohio, I will attempt to find all the markers around Cleveland and its surrounding counties.

Butternut Ridge Cemetery (corner of Columbia Road and Butternut Ridge Road, North Olmsted)

Grave of Isaac Scales, first resident of Butternut Ridge Cemetery.

Sadly, many of the gravestones have been vandalized through the years.
