Three months ago I talked about my disdain for Brunswick as a boomtown suburb.
What I didn’t touch in that post is the people. Because people, whether in a major metropolis or cookie-cutter sprawl, will make the experience better. Without community we are just small nuclear groups isolated from that which makes us human.
And the Community of Brunswick has come together in support for its own and each other. As I ran through my neighborhood this morning, countless trees and mailboxes and street signs and porches were adorned in blue ribbons.
Those five young adults, their family and friends are in our thoughts and prayers.
